Chris Evans is a better actor than I ever expected when I first heard he was cast as Captain America. When he’s in charge of the team, I really believe him and take him seriously, something I never would’ve thought could come from the guy after roles like Human Torch and the lead in Not Another Teen Movie. I mean I thought he was funny, but I didn’t think I could ever take him seriously, but he proved me wrong.

This scene was good acting too. His humble smile when Coulson says it’s an honor to meet him is so Steve Rogers and so not at ALL Chris Evans. (And his awkward reaction to the second part is awesome too).
